Types of Report available
We have 2 different types of depreciation reports we can offer you.
Economiser (No Inspection / Self Assessed) $249.00 now $220.00 (inc GST)
What you need to do:
Complete the Self Assessment Worksheet with a few details about you and your property and provide details about the inclusions, floor areas, renovations or changes to the property, photos of the property (optional), and floorplan of the property (optional).
Contact the local city council to obtain construction date and original construction cost of your property.
Note: Floorplan is compulsory if you were unable to obtain the construction / building cost from your local council. You must however provide details about the year / date of construction.
Once you have all the information, you can either submit online, email bookings@writeitoff.com.au or alternatively, fax the completed forms to us on
Fax: 1300 406 229. This will enable us to complete your property depreciation report.

This type of report is based on the ATO guidelines for the Self Assessment Rules. Under these guidelines it is up to you as the taxpayer to provide accurate and reasonable information to complete your property depreciation schedule. Write It Off accepts no responsibility for the accuracy of the depreciation report if in the event the information provided is found to be false or misleading.

Premium (full on-site inspection) $495.00 Now $440.00 (inc GST)
What you need to do:
Fill out the booking sheet with a few details about you and your property.
Contact the local city council to obtain construction date and original building cost of your property.
That's it! That is all you have to do! We will organise everything else including:
- Contacting your property manager to obtain tenant details
- Contact the tenant to arrange a suitable inspection time
- Conduct a thorough property inspection to determine all relevant deductions and changes to the original property that may be deductible.
- Complete the depreciation report under the supervision of our building inspectors, building clerk of works and company director.

Please note: that this price of $495.00 $440.00 inc(GST) is based on:
- a standard property consisting of up to 4 bedrooms
- leased as unfurnished
- consists of only minor renovations.
- is located within the advertised serviced areas made up of metropolitan Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide & Perth.
If your property does not fall within these parameters then please call our office on Ph: 1300 883 760, email bookings@writeitoff.com.au or complete a quote request form in the 'Contact Us' tab on our website to obtain an accurate quote. Price adjustment will be minor unless located in a remote location of Australia.
